Getting Started
If you’re new to poker, we recommend starting with Texas Hold’em, the most popular and easiest variant to learn. Here’s a simple guide to get you started:
Each player receives two private cards (hole cards)
Five community cards are dealt face up on the “board”
Players make the best five-card poker hand using any combination of their two hole cards and the five community cards
There are four betting rounds: pre-flop, flop, turn, and river
The best hand at showdown wins the pot
